DOPSoft is Delta Electronics’ proprietary Human-Machine Interface (HMI) programming software. While the name might be a bit long, the software doesn’t just have a long name it also comes with a long list of features. The software is designed specifically for engineers and technicians to let them use the graphical interface and configure everything properly, then deploy operator interfaces for Delta’s DOP series touch panel HMIs. Version 2.00.07, released in July 2019, this version comes with added support for a wide range of DOP-B, DOP-W, DOP-H, and HMC models, DOPSoft can be used on Windows XP through Windows 10, this version also includes various stability and usability improvements, with full backward compatibility.

What is DOPSoft?

DOPSoft is a Windows-based software that even supports older systems for example windows XP, the software design environment allows users to lay out screens, define alarms and data logging, and manage communication easily with PLCs and other industrial controllers for example wolf automation. Dopsoft includes drag-and-drop placement of graphical objects like buttons, meters, trend charts, etc. The software also supports tag address mapping and a multi-language interface, so everyone can use it easily without any translation. Additionally, You can create offline simulations in DOPSoft to validate logic and screen behavior without having to test everything in the physical HMI unit which saves lots of time.

• 1.1 Simple Indicator no longer misreads PLC addresses in word-to-bit mappings.
• 1.2 Resolved “Communication Error 7” during off-line simulation with Keyence KV1000/KV3000.
• 1.3 Fixed crash on DOP-B/H panels when a non-default highest security password is used.
• 1.4 Corrected delayed Ethernet connection on DOP-B03E211/DOP-B07E411 when powered simultaneously with network PLC.
• 1.5 Enabled firmware updates for DOP-W series under all project screen conditions.
• 1.6 Addressed touchscreen non-response on DOP-W panels after extended PLC communications.
• 1.7 Restored Auxiliary Key functionality on HMC panels post screen download.
• 1.8 Prevented HMC crash when returning from system menu under IP-conflict.
• 1.9 Fixed HMC non-response when reading from storage devices formatted with >4 KB allocation units.
• 1.10 Re-enabled password change via USB ladder-monitoring cable on HMC.
• 1.11 Corrected over-range homing speed setting on HMC.
• 1.12 Resolved arc/circular interpolation errors on HMC.
• 1.13 “Export CSV File” in History Buffer now functions correctly.
• 1.14 Eliminated spurious “EIP can’t build database” alerts in DOPSoft.
• 1.15 Corrected tag-import errors with Allen-Bradley Ethernet/IP local Tags.
• 1.16 Restored DOPSoft macro support for enhanced recipe dynamic index registers (*ENRCP).
• 1.17 Fixed logic-editing window launch errors on Windows 10.

• 2.1 History Buffer data length increased from 30 to 60 words.
• 2.2 Added COMLINKSTATUS and NETLINKSTATUS macros on DOP-B/H to monitor communication health.
• 2.3 Introduced PLC error code W576-18 for HMC series panels.
• 2.4 Expanded controller compatibility to include Mitsubishi FX3GA and Omron CJ/NJ/NX FINS UDP.

3. Patch Update

• July 1, 2020: Released a DSP firmware update for all HMC series panels to improve display timing and stability.

VirusTotal a online antivurus website detect 5% chance of virus in the file. But i myself tested the software the windows defender detect no virus at all so you can use the software without any problems.
